Overview

SUMMARY:

Under limited directions for the branches in their care, the Operations Program Manager performs colleague coaching/training related to compliance, quality, service delivery and effective use of tools; support operational reporting analysis. Implements approved policies and procedures to increase operating efficiency.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with Recruitment Manager and regional leaders to understand company service delivery initiatives and assist with implementing updates to policies, procedures and recruitment strategies, etc.
  • Serves as dedicated service delivery support to their division to assist with complex problem solving and/or escalation, as needed.
  • After initial new hire training, ensure full understanding of onsite teams on Standard Operating Procedures, processes and quality customer service delivery. Hands-on follow-up training in order fulfillment, payroll and workers' compensation and unemployment claims control, as needs arise.
  • Work with Managers and staff to create effective action plans for service delivery improvements.  Coaches and train staff in action plan areas as needed and follow-up to ensure action plans are implemented.
  • Fills gaps in onsite coverage and offers additional support at ramp clients, as needed
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three to five years experience in a company office or on-site. 
  • Supervisory/Management experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% in the region supported
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Knowledge of current sourcing and recruiting trends, best practices and methodologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
