In this role, you would perform production processes per written procedures, meeting expected quality levels and production rates

**A Day in the Life**

You will be part of a team that

• Manufactures product to high quality standards utilizing hand tools, fixtures, and equipment. This may include operating or making small adjustments to equipment or work station as defined per the process. Capable of achieving expected level of production while producing quality products.

• Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures, both written and verbal. Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.

• Consistent ability to meet production goals for assigned process with minimal coaching after a reasonable time for training while maintaining quality standards for the product.

• Capable to complete SFP (QAD), issue components, basic transactions, etc as required for the work stations certified to.

• Maintains process documentation and system(s) requirements (eg Compliance Wire) and other systems as appropriate. Adheres to defined quality system regulations (QSR), safety and housekeeping practices, as required by the work area.

• Mobile within department, meeting standards and productivity in areas trained to.

• Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner assisting in maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. Will help identify and report any safety concerns in a timely fashion.

• Identifies and assists with issues related to product, processes, and/or procedures as well as notifying the cell lead, group lead or manager of the issue and having a possible solution or recommendation.

• Comply with applicable FDA and regulatory laws/ standards and code of conduct.

• Operates, adjusts minor equipment, or a station on an automated operation. Ensure equipment calibrations are current.

• Identifies and supports continuous improvement initiatives by making recommendations or resolving potential issues.

• Ensure adequate cross-training across department while having the capability to train others by attending train the trainer classes.

**Must Haves - Minimum Requirements**

• High School Diploma or GED

• Proficiency in basic math, reading and understanding English - both speaking and writing.

• Demonstrate a record of excellent performance in meeting high standards of quality, quantity and dependability (attendance and punctuality)

• Ability to work in a culturally diverse work population

**Nice to Have**

• 5+ years of previous medical device assembly experience at Medtronic

• Read, understand and work with detailed manufacturing procedures

• Provide concentrated visual and mental attention

• Aid in performing installation qualifications, process qualifications, and other validation activities

• Setup breakdown extruders, manufacture tubing to specified dimensions and tolerances, and inspect tubing to drawing specifications
