Job Description Summary: Job Description Area of Expertise:
Primary customer contact responsible for overall relationship and coordination with Rolls-Royce including original equipment and aftermarket segments.

Typical Roles/Area of Focus:
The BD customer focal is accountable to develop and implement new and existing business development plans and program capture strategies. Ensure fulfillment of market segment growth and financial objectives. Create and have full understanding of business case for new and existing business and alignment to portfolio and product line strategies

Level of Responsibility:
Foster positive customer relationships and act as customer advocate and liaison between various functions and with UTC Aerospace Systems central customer management.

Develop pricing and negotiation strategies which support company objectives and the strategic plan

Lead business pursuit teams which include design engineer, contracts, program management, BD product focals, and finance

Validate production demand levels with customer input to verify manufacturing forecast accuracy

Lead and coordinate multi-site and/or product line reviews and meetings for both internal and external customers.

Specific business pursuits include but not limited to:
R-R Trent 900 LTA Renewal including Sub-tiers
R-R JSF LTA - Ice Protection and Engine Sensors
R-R Whole Business Review & Prep
R-R Commercial Assertions
T1000 Sub-tier Excess Usage Claim (Champion / MSSUK)
T1000 UTAS Sensors Excess Usage Claim (and Single-Use Policy loss recovery)
R-R T7000 Program Implementation/Negotiation
UTAS E&ECS A320Neo Commercial Assertion

Outcomes/Deliverables:

Experience/Qualifications
Program Management Professional preferred
Technical or Business Degree
