In this exciting role you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to the Global Distribution and Transportation organization. You will develop extensive cross-functional partnerships with various operations, transportation and finance teams to identify best practices and build capabilities to lead cost improvement efforts through better data driven decisions. You will lead efforts to develop driver-based freight forecast models, variance analysis for monthly/quarterly operating unit reviews, and other ad-hoc analysis as needed.

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners - you influence the decisions. Demonstrated ability to root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect costs in their sites and create new mechanisms, as they are needed.

+ Uses financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets. Outputs plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations. Works with a variety of data sources. Identifies incomplete or inaccurate data, identifies root causes of data issues, escalates discrepancies, fixes data where possible or partners to deliver a solution.

+ Ensure timely and accurate metrics, create and maintain forecast models related to global distribution and transportation operations.

+ Provide ad hoc financial modeling to support transportation / logistics RFPs as needed.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 8+ years)

**Nice to Have**

+ Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) MBA, CPA and/or CMA

+ Prior experience in CPG, high-tech or Logistics industry is a plus

+ Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

+ Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

+ An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes

+ Ability to think at both the strategic and implementation level - to think big while also diving deep

+ Strong business partnership and influencing skills

+ Strong organizational skills

+ High degree of initiative and self-motivation

+ Ability to interface in a team environment with various levels of management

+ Knowledge of general accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

+ Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL and other analytical tools
