As a **Global Training Education Instructional Designer** you will be responsible for partnering with internal partners from Marketing, Gobal Field Training Development (GFTD) Team, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and RD functions to develop clinical training for our Structural Heart therapies. The materials and curricula developed will be used to train internal field personnel world-wide to expand adoption and promote positive clinical outcomes for patients diagnosed with valvular heart disease.

**A Day in the Life:**

As the **Global Education Instructional Designer** , you will design, develop, and maintain educational programs supporting our Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) as well as future heart valve products global curriculum.

In this role, you will:

Collaborate with marketing, and clinical teams as well as subject matter experts to define clinical training needs and requirements.

Design detailed training plans defining instructional objectives, learning activities, and evaluation strategies customized to the specific needs of a given geographic region or audience.

Collaborate closely with medical education (commercial marketing and pre-clinical) IDs on content development and hand-off to GFTD.

Develop impactful didactic training materials and resources to support product, procedure, disease state, clinical data, competitive product and sales training needs.

Work with internal creative group and external vendors to develop electronic assets such as animations, videos, and self-paced eLearning modules.

Lead label review process to ensure training materials are consistent with approved product labelling.

Closely monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure training programs achieve instructional objectives and support business goals.

Serve as an internal subject matter expert and consultant on adult learning theory, instructional effectiveness, and human performance assessment and improvement.

Develop awareness of SH product portfolio and stay informed of industry trends, competitive products, and clinical trial results.

Other tasks and duties as assigned.

**Must Have: Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelors degree with a minimum of 10 years training education program design and development experience (8 years with Advanced Degree)

Instructional design experience

Experience with adult learning, including needs assessment and knowledge transfer

**Nice to Have**

Masters degree, ideally in Instructional Design

Instructional design experience within a global medical device or healthcare focused company
