**A Day in the Life**

Strategy and Portfolio Management

+ Drive portfolio management discussions and align the business on prioritization of our investment portfolio of new products and solutions based on rigorous analytics and relevant and representative voice-of-customers.

+ Work with Medtronic teams in developing markets (China, India, South America, etc.) to help shape strategies to accelerate access to our innovative products.

+ Support due diligence efforts on potential acquisitions, investments, or commercial partnerships.

+ Assist with long-range forecasting and planning by working collaboratively with our Medtronic regional teams to understand market trends and competitive dynamics.

+ Help to disseminate our strategic vision to thousands of our business units global employees.

+ Be a trusted strategic thought partner to our senior executive team, to our regional teams, and to our customers.

Pipeline Marketing and Customer Engagement:

+ Interface directly with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and physician customers to identify key strategic areas of focus and obtain feedback regarding current and future product plans.

+ Actively participate and lead physicians meetings related to the hemorrhagic space and portfolio and incorporate customer input into your strategic recommendations.

+ Collaborate closely with RD and other functions to analyze technical design and cost information to determine the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements.

+ Assess potential new indications and applications for our core technologies to expand access to broader patient populations.

+ Collect market research to understand the voice-of-customer and to ensure our pipeline of new products and solutions best addresses the unmet needs of the market.

+ Conducts competitive product analysis and market research of product, consumer behavior and professional audience.

+ Become the expert on potential new markets for Medtronic and provide Medtronic senior leadership with clear business plans supporting new market entry strategies.

+ Be a critical member of core teams for product development and new indications, providing insight to voice-of-customer and the business needs

Travel approximately 25% of the time.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree

+ 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, engineering, consultingwith a Bachelors degree, or 5+ yearswith a Masters degree

+ 2+ years of experience in healthcare industry

**Nice to Have**

+ Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field preferred

+ Masters degree/MBA in Business, Marketing or related field

+ Self-driven, adaptable, open-minded and collaborative attitude

+ Motivation to make an impact and change patients life for the better

+ Experience in strategy, marketing, consulting, finance, MA, business development, or technical role.

+ Passion for and skills in uncovering root causes or underlaying customer needs, and ability to translate these to a reflective, compelling business case with data-driven recommendations.

+ Success in developing relationships with customers and industry KOLs

+ Technical aptitude, specifically in the medical device or neurovascular space.

+ Experience working with and presenting to all levels of management including division presidents and executive leadership teams.

+ Strategy and/or portfolio management experience with an ability to take complex problems and translate them into concise, data-driven recommendations.

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop financial and valuation models that support new business plans and strategies.

+ Experience with design thinking and Biodesign principles.

+ Demonstrated success at work-in or manage large, cross-functional project teams to deliver upon critical milestones.

+ Curiosity and open mind to learn and improve

+ Adaptability and ability to raise fast after a failure

+ Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-moving environment.

+ Strong computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and the effective use of presentation softwar
