**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on facilities machines and equipment.

+ Performs repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment: Chillers, AHU, RTUs, VAVs and Commercial refrigerators

+ Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair and electrical.

+ Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

+ Uses hand and power tools.

+ Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.

+ Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

+ All other duties assigned

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Minimum of 8 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ S2 or S1 Connecticut LIcense

**Nice to Have:**

Associates degree
