Data scientists utilize their analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets. They then use this information to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges.

Data scientists commonly have a masters degree in statistics, math, computer science, or economics.

Data scientists have a wide range of technical competencies including statistics and machine learning, coding languages, databases, and reporting technologies.

They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.

**Data Scientist tasks:**

Planning, collecting and interpreting data

Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

Analyzing results

Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business

Identifying patterns and trends in data sets with analytical techniques that include machine learning, deep learning and text analytics

Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs

Defining new data collection and analysis processes

Leverages medical/scientific expertise to address medical information inquiries from HCPs and internal personnel

Collaborates and develops trusted relationships with key functions; drive and influence evidence-based scientific decision making across the matrix organization



Computer Science




Experience in data models and reporting packages

Ability to analyze large datasets

Ability to write comprehensive reports

Main statistical softwares knowledge

Strong verbal and written communication skills

An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving

Attention to detail

Fluent in Englis
