BUSINESS UNIT: RTG (Restorative Therapies Group) OVERVIEW

**A Day in the Life**
Perform material planning and purchasing function to support plant operations at our Eatontown facility.
Responsibilities:
Maintain supply of raw materials necessary to support Production
Monitor inventory and ensure adherence to stated goals
Convert requisitions for indirect materials into purchase orders
Expedite, de-expedite or cancel orders as required to support business needs
Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information in SAP
Verify that purchased materials are delivered on time, in specification and in the correct quantities
Ensure purchasing processes are adhered to and are consistent with corporate guidelines
Monitor supply base to ensure compliance to Approved Supplier List requirements
Maintain supplier documentation and conduct supplier review sessions as defined in SOPs
Provide feedback to suppliers regarding raw material quality issues
Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Knowledgeable and stays current and complies with all Standard operating procedures (SOP)
Must demonstrate the ability to work with others and function as a collaborative team
Complete required training by due date
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree required
+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, forecasting and supplier management, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
**Nice to Have**
Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
SAP experience highly desired
APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
Project Management Professional Certification
Six Sigma, Lean and DMAIC a plus
Experience in the medical device industry is desired
