**POSITION DESCRIPTION:**


Provide technical, educational,
clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting AF Solutions sales
and customer service objectives.


CRHF, AF Solutions seeks candidates
who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Technical Support / ClinicalSupport


+ Represents Medtronic AFS during ablationsprocedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance

+ Receives technical inquiries by customers.Researches solutions to questions or problems (e.g., Catheter, Console,Generator support)


+ Educational Support

+ Educates and trainsphysicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relatingto AFS products and related procedures

+ One-on-one training sessions

+ In-service education programs

+ Seminars and/or outside symposiums

+ Assists RM and field trainingdepartment in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers

+ Provides training andresources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for theirpersonnel

+ Sales Support

+ Updates sales representativesconcerning procedure. Immediately notifies Account Manager regarding issues orproblems requiring follow-up.

+ Serves as effective MedtronicAFS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic AFSproducts, service and support

+ Promotes the safe andeffective use of Medtronic AFS products and related procedures

+ Understands national, regionaland territory sales objectives. Works in partnership with Account Manager toachieve and exceed goals


**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**


_IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASICQUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME_


+ A High School Degree Plus aminimum of 11 years of work experience in the AFS industry OR

+ An Associates Degree PLUS aminimum 9 years of work experience in AFS Industry OR

+ Bachelors Degree PLUS aminimum of 7 years of work experience in AFS Industry


**DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (optional):**


+ B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing,cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of fouryears work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales

+ Proven track record with technicaltraining assignments

+ Experience in the cardiac catheterablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providingtechnical / clinical support

+ Ability to travel more than75% of the time

+ Must have a valid driver'slicense and active vehicle insurance policy.In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be consideredas part of your application


**PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Environmental exposure toinfectious disease and radiation

+ Clinical Specialists arerequired to be within their assigned territory each day to be available asunscheduled needs arise

+ Clinical Specialists will onoccasion be required to travel outside of their assigned territory andpossibility overnight

+ Must have a valid driverslicense

+ Ability to freely movethroughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able tointeract with personal computers

+ Must be able to stand/sit/walkfor 8 hours a day

+ Must have a valid driverslicense

+ Ability to travel up to 75%
