Medtronic has a great opportunity for a pricing professional to join a growing division within a market leading medical devices company. As Principal Pricing Strategy Analyst, you will work closely with Pricing Strategy Lead in shaping and developing a best in class function. You will be responsible for workstreams to identify pricing opportunities and to define methodologies and processes that best capture those opportunities. You will be a key point of contact from EMEA central organization working with various stakeholders across EMEA and Global including marketing, finance, pricing, market access and commercial teams.

**MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**


+ Contribute to building a best in class pricing strategy function across its pillars of price setting, execution, governance and monitoring

+ Conduct diagnostics and design methodologies to determine key pricing levers and price/revenue/profit optimization opportunities

+ Partner with Business and Marketing organization at EMEA level to drive correct pricing strategy of product launches and new business models

+ Defines EU List prices and supports country target and floor price setting based on pricing strategies

+ Design and implement pricing guidelines and processes that supports Diabetes Group achieve its business and financial objectives

+ Work closely with regional marketing, sales and pricing teams to collect competitive insights and pricing trends

+ In cooperation and with support from pricing analyst(s) designs, implements and maintains insightful pricing reports and dashboard to support performance tracking

+ Ensure strategic partnership and alignment with other functional areas such as finance, market access and reimbursement to ensure effective pricing strategies

+ Provide strategic support in identifying, implementing and developing new commercial models and ensure a smooth process implementation

+ Drive and monitor compliance to target prices


**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:**


+ The ideal candidate should have in-depth understanding and experience with the development and execution of pricing strategies that optimize market access and product profitability

+ Min 5 years experience in pricing, commercial or finance functions

+ Knowledge of tender and reimbursement systems in Europe

+ Experience working with different revenue models in a B2B and/or B2C environment

+ Experience with medical devices or life sciences industry will be a plus

+ Strong business acumen and financial understanding

+ Excellent analytic and strategic skills - demonstrated problem-solving skills

+ Strong entrepreneurial skills who brings passion, energy and excellence in execution to their work

+ Experience working in a matrix structure

+ Team player and track record of working collaboratively to manage cross-functional, cross-business issues and generate impact through others

+ At ease in different cultures and situations

+ Experience of working in a cross-functional team and leading with influence

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English. Any other European language is an advantage
