treat abnormal heart rhythms, as well as cardiac diagnostic and monitoring

As a Principal Software Mobile Test Engineer, you will perform
Verification Test activities for mobile application software that operates in a
patient-oriented medical device environment.

You will have the opportunity to work on the MyCareLink Heart
mobile app for pacemakers!

**Day in the Life:**

This position will be responsible for the development and
execution of both automated and manual test designs/protocols per verification
software requirements for mobile applications in the medical device space.

Tasks include:

+ Working closely with developersand Systems Engineers to fully understand the architecture and design of themobile application with sound understanding of the mobile device,operating platform on which the application runs.

+ Leverage technical experience andknowledge to break down high-level requirements to design test and automationstrategies, and independently complete test development and executions per thedefined processes and schedule to meet and exceed all customer expectations.

+ Design and Support best in classtest infrastructure and test tools in support of software development processes.

+ Establish and maintain traceabilityfrom software requirements to verification test design and implementationthrough to final test results.

+ Assist the Test Manager andVerification Lead in planning and estimation, tracking detailed scheduleestimates for assigned tasks/features and tracking progress.

+ Proactively work with technicalleads and Project Managers to ensure accurate and precise program execution.

+ Drive and ensure the accuracy ofsoftware requirements with the System Engineering team.

+ Make sound independent technicaldecisions related to product quality and organizational performance to achievemaximized outcomes.

+ Assist development teams on rootcause isolation and debugging of product issues.

+ Collaborate and coordinateactivities with globally distributed teams, ensuring overall product quality.

+ Drive overall metric and reportingcapabilities to accurately summarize and report on product quality.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or technically related

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Experience in Functional Testing of Mobile Applications forAndroid and/or iOS

+ Hands on experience with Test Management and Defect Managementtools preferably Microsoft Test Manager

+ Software development experience in either Test AutomationFrameworks or product software applications. C#, VB Script and Java Script

+ Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills, ableto articulate concisely clearly and present in front of all levels of theorganization

+ Management/lead experience working with software and/or testengineers

+ Ability to thrive and deliver on a team of verification engineers,software engineers and with cross-functional teams of system engineers, humanfactors, quality and offshore teams.

+ Prior Design/test/development experience with FDA controlledmedical devices.

+ Experience working within a regulated environment.

+ Local language test experience

+ Ability to learn emerging technologies in mobile space and performinnovative thinking in Mobile application testing

+ Ability to lead small teams
