**Day in the Life**

Supporting Tier 2 Technical Service calls from field (troubleshooting, decoding memory files, explaining device operation, etc.)

Maintain legacy system performance info and provide feedback to new product development teams

Develop/validate software tools or job aids to assist in troubleshooting issues

Analyze data to address customer or management inquiries

Lead or participate in RPI (released product investigation) or CAPA (corrective and preventive action) investigation activities

Plan and lead systems engineering activities for post-market projects or geographic expansion projects

Lead formal design reviews for new product teams or on design changes

Plan and carry out system performance trend analysis, returned product analysis and systems support of regulatory submissions or renewals

Help to set direction for group and participate in best practices documentation

**Must Haves**

7+ years of relevant experience with Engineering Design or Clinical Field or advanced degree with 5+ years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

Bachelors degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System engineering or related discipline

Prior experience with combined hardware, software system architecture

Clinical experience with cardiac rhythm management products

Basic understanding of Medical Device Industry Regulations

Excellent understanding of system architecture for products involving hardware, software, communication and mechanical components

Prior experience with cardiac rhythm management products

Familiarity with CAPA, DMAIC, DRM or other quality processes

Self-motivated; ability to work independently with high-level direction

Excellent verbal and writing skills

Demonstrated ability to coach and work effectively with others on cross-functional teams

Good time management and organizational skills
