The Vice President, Market Expansion and Innovation is responsible for executing the sales strategy and growth of the Professional Recruitment teams in a designated market. Responsible for collaborating with the Zone Leader and Business/Sales Strategy teams to develop effective sales and market strategies. Accountable for new business development, growth of client base and directing sales strategies to build market share and profitability. Works to inspire, motivate and develop staff to achieve market goals. Responsible for the development, motivation and evaluation of directors.





  • Develops annual plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives; establishes both financial and non-financial goals; manages to expectation.
  • Responsible for financial results of the market.  Provides leadership and direction to ensure sales growth is profitable and in line with strategic objectives.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry, economic trends, local market and competitors.
  • Implements company controls, operating procedures and policies impacting the market.
  • Reviews and approves colleague-related actions including promotions, increases, bonus payments, etc., for market management.
  • Develops leaders and actively manages a strong succession strategy.
  • Establishes strategy for market in partnership with the Zone Leader and Business/Sales Strategy Teams.
  • Fosters collaboration between verticals and markets, as well as across the Adecco ecosystem.
  • Provides leadership in managing the largest and most complex matters.
  • Maintains client relationships to ensure quality services are being provided.
  • Ensures compliance with company programs, procedures, and Federal and State employment laws.




Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred. Minimum of seven years experience in a senior role leading a large sales organization. 



  • Exceptional leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
  • Proven ability to grow a professional services business and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to operate at the strategic level yet be close enough to the details to add value to clients and support your teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering financial results.
  • Experience managing complex budgets and growth initiatives.
  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing, both in one-on-one and group settings. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain highly effective, collaborative working relationships at all levels of the organization, including across brands, with global and corporate functions.
  • Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build a business case and assess return on investment with business risk.
