As a **Sales Manager,** you will be responsible for developing and executing nationwide sales strategies to win the market by leading MCS sales team in Korea. **Duties Responsibilities:**

+ Establishes direct sales plans with direct impact on results, including target revenue, resource allocation, expenditures and future business opportunities.

+ Is accountable for execution and implementation of sales strategies and plans

+ Promotes and sells Medtronics Mechanical Circulatory Support products and services in Korea

+ Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, cardiologists, and other hospital personnel.

+ Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronics HeartWare Ventricular Assist Device (HVAD) product and technology

+ Provides general support, information and demonstration of HVAD system to surgeons, nurses, research coordinators, cardiologists and other hospital personnel to facilitate optimal outcomes during implant, post-operative care and long-term use of the HVAD system

+ Supports all aspects of Medtronics Mechanical Circulatory Support business at assigned implanting and non-implanting study sites

+ Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors activities

+ Develops and/or implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed

+ Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders

+ Ensures individual and team progress are monitored and reviewed

+ Provides market insights in developing business strategies

+ Makes moderate to significant improvements of processes, policies and / or products to enhance performance of entire sales team

+ Communicates with internal and external customers and stakeholders regarding ongoing operations.

+ Leads, directs and reviews the work of a sales team who exercise latitude and independence in handling accounts

+ Authorizes hiring, firing, promotion and reward within own area

+ Requires practical sales, business development and management knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics for one or more products

+ Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within the sales discipline, with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

+ Manages experienced sales professionals who exercise latitude and independence in handling accounts, providing direct sales, tactical and / or operational leadership

+ Leverages internal processes in support of sales representatives and selling activities.

**Must Have: Minimum Qualifications**

+ Completed Bachelors degree in any discipline

+ Minimum 10 years of sales experience

+ People management experience

+ Prefer background in thoracic surgery and/ or heart failure related internal medicine sales experiences

+ Advanced knowledge and skills in medical technologies or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization required

+ High degree of flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing business/negotiation environment to embrace new business opportunities

+ Results orientated with strong driving capability in a matrix organization environment

+ Able to manage teams across functions and organizations, with proper understanding of multiple cultures
