As a Senior Clinical Affairs Research Specialist
you will be representing Medtronic Clinical Affairs internally and externally
for Denmark. You will manage local evidence plans considering market needs,
changing local environment and competitive evidence landscape. Your clinical
activities support local therapy adoption and market access. Furthermore, you
will act as an extension of the Operating Units in Denmark to successfully
facilitate local clinical trials execution.


**A Day in the Life**


We offer you a position where you can combine your
clinical solution expertise and Danish market knowledge. You will support our internal
customers, the local Operating Units in Denmark approaching with customer focused
and solution-oriented deliverables while driving Danish clinical execution and
healthcare solutions forward.


You will be part of a regional Northern Europe team of
excellent Clinical Affairs colleagues with many more peers in entire EMEA. In
Denmark, your committed task is to act as a trusted advisor and coordinator, being
point of contact for:


+ Local Danish healthcare customers,authorities and Key Opinion Leaders on Clinical Affairs

+ Clinical Operating Units: providingwith in-depth knowledge about the local clinical environment and consultationon site nomination

+ All departments inMedtronic that need access to the danish clinical field


In this
position, you will influence across functions and Operating Units, identify and
lead projects that are relevant for local danish therapy adoption and market
access.


Another
important responsibility is that you will lead and work effectively within our
Medtronic matrix organisation. This will require your natural sense of being a
team player and sensitive to the commitments of others. Being a successful
advisor, you provide with strategic advisory and the necessary analytical
capabilities to deliver solid data and ability to communicate insights and
present findings to all levels in our organization.

**Responsibilities**


**DanishCountry Clinical Affairs** :


+ Activelybuilding and maintaining optimal relationships with danish customers andcustomer representatives, as well as Key Opinion Leaders and danish localauthorities, medical scientific communities and the medical deviceindustry focusing on the assigned therapeutic areas

+ RepresentingMedtronic as the Clinical face in Denmark and acting at the same time as thevoice of the danish customers and authorities towards stakeholders atMedtronic for the assigned therapeutic areas

+ Mappinginternal, external and environmental barriers and developing plans to addressthem in a methodical way


**Supportin Study Management, Study Execution and** **External ResearchProgram** **(ERP):**


+ Oversee the clinicalProject Portfolio for Denmarkanddeliver high-quality to meet stakeholders needs and expectations

+ Coordinatingwith investigators the ERP submission, tracking, and local administration allin alignment with existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)


**LocalDanish evidence dissemination awareness:**


+ Ensuringawareness of Danish clinical activity and new clinical evidence and providinginput to Medtronic sales marketing leaders

+ Advising Danishcovering marketing organization on outcome of publications and provide suggestionson relevant communication strategy

+ Providingclinical evidence on ongoing tenders


**Must Haves**


+ Bachelors orMasters degree in relevant technical, clinical or biomedical field

+ Fluent in Danish and English.

+ Wide and in-depthknowledge of Danish evidence needs and Danish law regulations withinClinical Affairs

+ General knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and applicableregulations

+ 5+ of relevant experience in the Clinical Affairs and/or Clinical Research

+ Ability to see the bigger picture and have global perspective onClinical Affairs

+ Good judgmental sense, decisive, commercial attitude, outstanding problemsolving influencing competences

+ Enjoys to work in a cross-functional team and within a matrixorganization

+ Experienced project manager and scientific writer

+ Committed comfortable to ensure strict adherence toregulations


Living in Denmark and willing to travel
extensively in Denmark
