As we build our team there is a Senior RD Electrical Engineer role for an individual with medical device product development experience.
**The areas of required expertise are:**
-Embedded systems
ARM (Bare-Metal and RTOS)
Encryption hardware
Data storage
-Electromechanical Systems
Motor control
+Hardware (BLDC Motor Driver, Encoders)
Pressure control
+Analog sensor
-Communication protocols
I2C
RS-485
RS-232
-Display control
Color LCD
Touch Screen
-RFID hardware design
-Medical Device Standards
IEC 60601 Standard
ISO 13485 Standard
**Duties:**
Follow company Procedures, Standards and best practices
Develop electrical portions of GYN Products
Contribute to the development of GYN Products
**A Day in the Life**
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
+ Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree required
+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
**Nice to Have**
+ Experience in Medical Device or Aerospace Industry
+ Ability to design, specify, fabricate, troubleshoot, and test breadboard/prototype systems through completed PCBs
+ Experience with design controls (preferably medical devices) and related specifications (ex ISO 60601).
+ Has developed electromechanical systems, working closely with software and mechanical engineering.
+ Look to be an individual contributor
**Skills:** circuit design, soldering and cabling / wiring harness prototyping, test design and protocol and report writing.
