**A Day in the Life**

The Senior
Physicist will be a member of the RD engineering team, working on the
development and support of patient monitoring products.TheSenior Physicist is
expected to work with other cross-functional members of the engineering staff
to provide scientific expertise and solutions to engineering problems.

The Senior Physicist will leverage advanced physics
research and academic research, along with expertise and tools in the field of
pneumatics and optics, to test and analyze physical behaviors, materials, and

The Senior Physicist will also provide guidance and apply
technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

**Essential Functions:**

Participate in RD
activities associated with physics and general science.

Conduct and support the development of pneumatic products
and provide guidance for future gas sampling consumable development.

Prepare research plans for Technology Development projects.

Lead root cause analysis activities.

Design, execute, and record physics lab experiments.

Design, execute, and record verification and validation

Create specification documents for precise pneumatics-based

Support transfer
from development to manufacturing, and design for mass production.

Promote new ideas related to patient monitoring.

Design pneumatic architecture of real-time gas analyzer

Develop testing fixtures for precision pneumatic products.

Research and provide guidance on leading-edge technologies.

Collaborate with
other scientists and engineers in the design, development, and testing of
medical device equipment, instrumentation, and procedures.

Evaluate experiment
results and perform quality control tests.

Develop status
reports, PowerPoint briefings, presentations, and preparatory materials for

Review technical
reports and provide critiques of methods and results.

Monitor program and
technical performance against goals.

Effectively lead and manage development activities with sub-contractors.

**Must Have:**

**Education** :

Master's Degree or higher, in classical/ optical/ pneumatical
physics or mechanical/ materials engineering

**Experience** :

At least 3 years of experience beyond degree, working as a physicist
in industrial research environment with a solid scientific orientation

Knowledge and experience in development of materials to handle
gases and liquids Mandatory

Ability to develop tools in MATLAB Mandatory

Experience in designing and leading research programs and
projects, with a proven track record of productive output and completed

Data analysis using advanced analytic tools such as Minitab,
Origin, LabView, and others as required

Strong aptitude for mathematics, calculus, and statistics

Exceptional presentation and reporting skills

Excellent English (both reading and writing), as all documents are
written in English

**Nice to have:**

Scientific background in practical physics, with experience
working in a medical device organization Advantage

Knowledge of and experience in precise pneumatics Major

Experience in development of medical products Major advantage

Knowledge of and experience in the field of heat transfer, thermal
simulation and flow systems Advantage

Experience with SolidWorks and related tools Advantage

Understanding of material engineering Advantage

Familiarity with Medical device standards (e.g., IEC60601)

Familiarity with DFSS methodology Advantage
