**POSITIONDESCRIPTION:**


To gain market share in the PeripheralEmbolizationbusiness by promoting, selling, and servicing
Medtronic's interventional radiology products within assigned territory.


Medtronic seeks candidates who will meet our

**POSITIONRESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Provideeducated and knowledgeable case support to assigned accounts throughdirection from the District Manager to which they are assigned.

+ Worksdirectly with the Regional Manager to strategically identify targets andopportunities.

+ Answerquestions and provide technical expertise on the safe and effective use ofproducts for the customer.

+ Be aresource within the assigned territory and region to ensure thatopportunities for case coverage are met.

+ Be aproduct expert within the territory and for the customer during casesupport activities.

+ Understandsthe full use of the products in the appropriate types of cases and is ableto encourage additional use of Medtronic products within a case whereclinically appropriate.

+ Responsiblefor achieving or exceeding the assigned quota

+ Conductsall business with customers in a manner that adheres to healthcarecompliance guidelines FDA Guidelines.

+ Timeand territory management goals are met

+ Growbusiness substantially in territory


**BASICQUALIFICATIONS:**


_IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THEFOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME_


+ BachelorsDegree

+ 5+years medical industry experience (selling physician preference products) inhospital setting with 3 years selling to interventional cardiology /orradiology, hospital/Cath Lab setting; vascular surgery or EP


**DESIRED/PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:**


+ BachelorsDegree in Business or Science

+ Experiencein a highly Customer focused, competitive selling environment, medicalsales are preferred

+ Technicalaptitude and interest in medical device sales career path

+ Strongclinical knowledge and aptitude

+ Abilityto quickly learn product knowledge and apply it in a live, case setting

+ Quicklybuilds rapport with clinical aptitude

+ Detailoriented with the ability to provide inventory administration

+ Workswell within a team and receives daily direction


**PHYSICALJOB REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Frequent required travel to customer clinics, hospitalsand offsite meetings. While performing the duties of this job, the employee isregularly required to be independently mobile


**Workand Travel Requirements**


+ Available/willing to work/travel weekends andevenings

+ This position requires on-call time

+ Continuous verbal and written communication

+ Ability to transport product/equipment from car tohospital

+ Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eightplus hours per day

+ Environmental exposures include eye protection,infectious disease and radiation

+ Ability to travel extensively with ease (approx. 10%of time)

+ Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the timewithin assigned territory

+ Must have a valid driver's license and activevehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will bereviewed and will be considered as part of your application.
