**A Day in the Life**

**Digital/Social Media (Primary)**

+ Coordinate and grow Medtronics website, social media channels in Koreaincluding Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and any others deemed worthy through:

+ Crafting of impactful, compelling, and strategic messaging posts that resonate and grow our audience to ultimately become Medtronic advocates;

+ Active listening, responding, and engaging the audience on Medtronic Korea owned social media platforms;

+ Utilizes search engines to maximize Medtronic content utilization and visibility;

+ Exploring new and developing social media channels and evaluating which channels are most effective for Medtronic Korea

+ Drive Content Marketing for overall Medtronic and key therapies/ products

+ Supports and assists in development of digital activation plans for offline events, and digital only activations, such as new launches, major announcements, sponsorships or publishing partnerships

+ Collaborate with internal partners and other stakeholders to conceptualize, coordinate, and execute all multi-channel engagement campaigns/efforts, including strategic public awareness campaigns, HCP education campaigns, e-newsletters, and other engagement e-mails.

+ Drive Medtronic internal employee engagement through digital platforms like the Intranet and others

+ Develop content Written, Video, Photos, Animations for posting on intranet and for other internal communications opportunities

+ Leads management of social agency creative partner(s) in content development, and drives optimization of content to improve social engagement performance

+ Other duties as assigned.

**Digital Marketing (Secondary)**

+ Develops outright, or in partnership with others, compelling digital marketing strategies to promote the organizations products and services through digital channels and solutions.

+ Establishes, maintains and updates stakeholder centric digital experiences, including the identification, selection and deployment of platforms, tools and applications that deliver on strategic programs and campaigns.

+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketers APAC Go Digital Team/ global digital/social media team) to execute pan marketing for the best possible customer experience with Medtronic

+ Develops promotional programs and campaigns designed to achieve defined business objectives with target audiences via digital channels and solutions.

+ Manages the implementation and measures performance of digital programs, content and key stakeholder digital engagement results and develops insights into customers digital behaviors.

+ Establishes and maintains enterprise digital standards, policies and governance.

+ Manages digital marketing consultants, agencies and vendors.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Concentration in Mass Communication or Marketing or Digital Marketing or E-commerce, is preferred.

+ 7+ years of experience in public relations, media or communications of which minimum of 3 years of experience in digital and social media communications.

+ Candidates from Communications Agencies covering healthcare practice OR Communications professionals from the Hospitals/ Medical Devices/ Pharma Industry would also be preferred.

+ Strategic thinking and planning skills in internal external communications

+ Cross-functional project management experience

+ Outstanding interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration across function, business units and region.

+ Presentation, oral and written communication abilities in Korean English.

+ Influential networks and relationship with established influencers and stakeholders.

+ Strong understanding of digital and social media strategies and a demonstrated ability to craft and implement broad digital/social campaigns with success.


+ This job is to be based in Seoul, Korea

+ Some overseas travel may be required on short notice

+ Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed
