As the Sr. Global Performance and Career Development Program Manager, you will be an integral leader within the Global Talent and Leadership Development Center of Expertise (COE). You will be responsible for the successful development and execution of Medtronics Global Performance and Career Development process. You will work collaboratively with other key HR functions, including Talent Managers, Global Rewards, Learning Development, Global Inclusion, Diversity Engagement (GIDE), and HR Systems to build, extend and execute Performance and Career and Development processes and strategies that align and support the overall HR Strategy. This position will work closely with the Vice President of Global Talent Management, and the Talent Management Development Directors across the enterprise.

**A Day in the Life**


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

**Enterprise Performance and Career Development Enablement**

+ Responsible for planning, initiating, monitoring, tracking processes, and creating tools and training to enable effective performance management strategies for the enterprise employee population as well as the global manufacturing site employees.

+ Set clear direction and management objectives that aligns with defined practices and policies and enhances the organizations human resource capabilities and drives the performance-driven culture

+ Develops strategy and manages the day to day execution of performance management approaches, including technology, process and tools

+ Stay current on external trends, internal VOC needs and innovative approaches to enhancing performance management strategies

+ Partner with peers across the center of excellence to ensure Performance and Career Development solutions are integrated and aligned with other processes and offerings

+ Direct day to day activities for multiple work-stream teams through managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, identifying project risks and accountability for deliverables across multiple functional organizations

+ Partner with LD to create tools, resources, and training to educate the organization on the Performance and Career Development process

+ Provide training on Performance and Career Development for HR leadership, employees, and/or people leaders

+ Partner with HR leadership and their teams to ensure consistent execution and deployment of solutions throughout the enterprise and global manufacturing and operations sites

+ Create/communicate process related changes to appropriate audiences

+ Partner with Human Capital Insights to define and analyze metrics, measures and key analytics to assess effectiveness of the Performance and Career Development process

+ Act as a subject matter expert for the business for the Performance and Career Development process

+ Stay abreast of changes to, influence the direction of, and optimize Workday, as it relates to the Performance and Career Development processes

+ Responsible for project performance, risk management, administration, financial management, budgeting and issue resolution

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors Degree and 7+ years of Human Resources experience (Talent Management, Change Management or Organization Development/Effectiveness consulting is equivalent to HR experience) or Advanced Degree and 5+ years of Human Resources experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Masters degree (I/O Psychology, MBA, or MA Human Resources)

+ Demonstrated experience in successfully leading a major HR program

+ Experience in program/process design, as well as process improvement

+ Project management experience with ability to manage multiple priorities

+ Ability to successfully plan and lead projects incorporating cross-functional teams, vendors, and budget and schedule requirements

+ Experience working in a matrix environment and collaborating with different teams

+ Ability to collaborate and influence executive level leaders

+ Change Management or Organization Development/Effectiveness experience

+ Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills

+ Solid understanding of external talent landscape and best practices

+ Experience with HR systems and processes

+ Self-motivated/Strong work ethic

+ Tactful, exercises independent discernment and discretion

+ Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
