In this exciting role as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineering you will have the opportunity to work with a new acquisition in the Peripheral business.


This key role will support post-market supplier quality engineering activities for the site to ensure product requirements are met while maintaining product quality, safety and compliance.

**AORTIC, PERIPHERAL AND VENOUS (APV)** offers treatment for vascular abdominal and thoracic aortic disease, interventional devices used to treat Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) through catheter-based procedures and diagnostic technologies and venous therapeutic solutions for superficial and deep vein diseases.


**A Day in the Life**


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.


Qualifies suppliers according to company standards


Monitors supplier performance and takes appropriate actions to drive improvements.


Monitors parts from receipt through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier-related problems as they occur.


Manages quality issues through Non-conformance management and Corrective/Preventive Action processes as appropriate


Develops and prioritizes an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards are met.


Develops and manages a supplier performance monitoring system.


Manage the site Approved Supplier List to ensure compliance.


Develop and deliver the Product Acceptance Sampling Strategy for incoming inspection.


Define Receiving Inspection requirements as required and associated test method validation for all internal Medtronic Test Methods.


Drive Quality Management System improvements to ensure Supplier Management procedures are compliant and robust.


Manage supplier quality related metrics and KPIs and ensure appropriate escalation to trends.


Provide routine communication and updates to leadership regarding supplier performance.


Support acquisition integration activities as required.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Bachelors Degreein Engineering, Science or Technical field with 4+ years of work experience in Quality and/or Engineering OR Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or Technical field with 2+ of work experience in Quality and/or Engineering.


**Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)**


Experience working with an acquisition


Supplier Quality Post-Market experience
