**A Day in the Life**

Senior/Principal Tax Accountant (12 months contract)

**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**

+ Responsible for completion of annual tax compliance activities for Medtronic International Ltd Singapore Branch, including information gathering from ERP system and reaching out to different responsible teams.

+ Responsible for responding to tax queries from IRAS.

+ Prepare information required for Transfer Pricing documentation and support our internal transfer pricing team to get the Transfer Pricing documentation done on time.

+ Prepare tax entries and reconciliation of tax related general ledger accounts

+ Responsible for timely submission of our internal tax package upon completion of tax filing on a quarterly basis.

+ Work closely with our APAC corporate tax and transfer pricing team as well as our external tax agent

+ Understands the new tax framework to be implemented by IRAS and complete the tax framework requirements for Singapore entities.

**SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM:** An individual contributor with responsibility in a tax compliance and with accounting knowledge.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ University Degree

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Minimum 4 years of international corporate income tax experience in a law firm, large corporate in-house tax department or public accounting with at least 1-2 years experience in commercial companies

+ Strong oral and written English language skills

+ Strong knowledge of accounting skills

+ Good understanding of SAP ERP system

+ Proactive and eager to learn

+ Energetic with an enthusiastic, detailed oriented and hands-on approach

+ Team player ability to work well in a dynamic environment

+ Strong analytical and communication skills
