Medtronics Plymouth, MN location is looking for a night shift Technician I, that will be responsible to support the production of Mechanical Heart Valves and the equipment associated with manufacturing silicon alloyed pyrolytic carbon components.

**A Day in the Life**

In thisrole you will support operators in problem solving, process updates, equipment maintenance, new equipment development, and general compliance activities.

This is a 3 rd shift position, Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

+ Performs day to day production floor support for Pyrolytic Carbon Coating and CNC Machining Operations of Mechanical Heart Valve Components

+ Perform preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance activities for support area

+ Supports calibration activities for support area

+ Supports engineers on projects to improve process efficiencies, yields, and to maintain business continuity.

+ Supports site Process Safety Management Program

+ Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

+ Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

+ Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.

+ Performs calibration and alignment checks; adjusts, modifications, and replacements as directed.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ High school diploma or GED

+ 0 experience required

**Nice to Have**

+ Background in Chemical Vapor Deposition Coating Operations

+ Background in CNC Machining operations

+ Experience with PLC systems

+ Experience with piping and instrument systems

+ Background in Lean

+ Prior Experience in the Medical Device industry

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office

+ Ability to function independently as well as part of a team

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced environment

+ Team dynamic skills (communication, accountability, decision making, feedback, meeting management, conflict management)
