Medtronic is looking to recruit a highly capable Territory Manager for our Surgical Innovations team in Queensland. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, Surgical Innovations (QLD), you will join a team of dedicated and talented professionals and gain world-class training and development within our Medical Surgical business group. This is your opportunity to be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovations.


As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales revenue and market share targets for the assigned Brisbane territory. You will promote and sell our Advanced Surgical Technologies portfolio (powered stapling, vessel sealing and open stapling) to specialists across a broad range of surgical specialties.


**Please note this is a 12 months maternity leave contract.**


**A Day in the Life**


**In this role, you will:**


+ Practice effective territory management in terms of planning, organisation and administration, along with timely and accurate expense planning and control.

+ Ensure the highest level of product and technical knowledge is attained and maintained in order to provide education effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff.

+ Provide technical and expert in-theatre case support, and train Medtronic customers in the use of products where appropriate.

+ Ensure timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer/ patient technical and product issues, including after-hours support when needed.

+ Work individually and as part of the wider team to establish and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders.


**Must Have Minimum Requirements**


+ A Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Business or Science related disciplines, is essential

+ Proven success track record in healthcare sales, ideally within the medical device industry

+ Prior theatre nursing experience is required for those from pharmaceutical sales seeking an industry change

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated confidence and ability to build strong rapport with key customers

+ Self-motivated with high levels of resilience and a positive can do attitude

+ Strong planning and organisational skills with proven ability in managing workload and conflicting priorities
