**A Day in the Life**


The position will be responsible for supporting sales of Medtronic Pelvic Health Gastric Therapies products and representing the company in accordance with its policies and in the area assigned. As well as maintaining an awareness of local competitive conditions. Allocation guidelines for core responsibilities include: Case coverage, ordering and checking stock for procedures, managing customer stock allocation, selling features and benefits of the Medtronic Pelvic Health Gastric Therapies portfolio, upselling of full portfolio in theatre and to non-clinical buyers, building an understanding and influencing the complex patient pathway.


The position has full sales responsibility in the allocated target accounts with a portion of time given to market expansion and opening of new accounts and customers. Collaboration with colleagues across other Medtronic divisions is essential for the success of this role.


**Responsibilities include:**


+ Own territory account strategy and tactics to reach revenue and profitability targets

+ Meet or exceed quarterly annual sales targets

+ Provide clinical implant support to the clinical team in theatre/clinics

+ Provide Territory case coverage and support of intraoperative sales.

+ Asset management of the territory.

+ Provide troubleshooting support to customers on request.

+ Understand the complex patient pathway form primary to secondary care.

+ Plan and support clinical and technical training and education programs with review and input from Sales Manager and staff in the District as well as other functional groups, i.e. marketing, reimbursement, regulatory, clinical, education etc., consistent with the District Business Plan.

+ Participate in the development of employee and customer training/education programs.

+ Prepare study material, plans, organizes and conducts training to customers (physicians, technicians and nurses) in collaboration with the District Sales force/network team.

+ Participate in and supports regional events such as Congresses or Customer Events.

+ Support District Sales force during presentations to customers upon request.

+ Manage accounts in assigned territory.

+ Conduct sales calls to promote, sell and service Medtronics products and services to existing and competitive customers.

+ Implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives, document in cross world.

+ Prepare and submit call reports in cross world as required by the Regional Sales Manager.

+ Maintain up-to-date customer records

+ Intensely seek new customers and formulate and follow plans for such action

+ Liaise with colleagues across Medtronic to leverage business, revenue and profitability

+ Successful completion of all required product and sales related training curriculum.

+ Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs and conventions as directed.

+ Identify selling opportunities and work closely across RTG businesses and colleagues to drive surgical synergy related to spine surgery.


**Must Haves**


+ Bachelors degree or its equivalent.

+ Medical device or surgical related sales experience

+ Excellent interpersonal skills

+ Ability to work in an operating room setting

+ Understanding of NHS reimbursement landscape

+ Proven ability to effectively build relationships with a wide range of clinical and Non-Clinical stakeholders

+ A positive person with strong entrepreneurial skills who brings passion, energy and excellence in execution to his/her work

+ A team player with a track record of working collaboratively

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Travel is required

+ Proven presentation skills
