Medtronic is seeking Global IT summer interns to work
in Innovation and Intelligence, Digital Health, Data Analytics, User Services,
Business Functions, Application Services, Management Operations, Infrastructure
and Operations, Security Operations, Governance and Audit. As a Global IT
Medtronic Intern, you will participate in a 10-week high energy, fast-paced,
hands-on, and diverse internship program. Interns will be assigned a mentor and
get exclusive exposure to IT executive leadership with an opportunity to
showcase their ideas and innovations. Successful summer interns will be offered
full-time IT Associate positions in the IT Early Career Development Rotational
two-year program sponsored by the CIO with many advancement opportunities.
**A Day in the Life**

who are highly collaborative with excellent communication, leadership, and
strategic-thinking skills. Bright, flexible, and results-oriented, with a high
degree of humility.
+ Developdigital healthcare and virtual reality platforms that help patients,doctors and hospital networks collaborate.
+ Usehuman centered design principles to improve system usability for our90,000 employees and millions of customers worldwide.
+ Leveragedata analytics and statistical methods to develop business centricinsights to support decision making.
+ Identifyand recommend new ways to save money and time by streamlining businessprocesses, applications and systems.
+ AssessIT securityrisk and identify meaningful solutions to mitigate.
**Must Haves:**
To
be considered for a summer 2021 engineering internship, you must meet the
following basic requirements. How you meet these criteria, must be clearly
indicated on your resume to be considered for a position.
+ Bachelors degree student withjunior level class standing
+ Working towards a bachelorsdegree in management Information systems and/or business informationsystems
+ A minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0cumulative GPA
+ A recipient of a ThurgoodMarshall College Fund (TMCF) Scholarship
+ Legallyauthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without theneed for sponsorship for an employment visa in the future
+ Participants must be able toparticipate full time (40 hours/week) as part of our intern cohort June 7 August 20, 2021
**Nice to Haves:**
+ Knowledge of one or more of thefollowing technologies: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft SharePoint Online,Microsoft PowerBI, ServiceNow, AWS Programming Languages, SQL, Python.
+ Experience in human centereddesign, end user experience, dashboarding and reporting.
+ Prior experience in healthcaretechnology field.
+ Prior work on projects in ateam environment
+ Relevant academic projectsand/or internship experience helpful
